Roof Of The World

Grande Hotel do Porto - Hotel Porto (Portugal), which recently completed a group of architects, code-named COR, in which the encrypted names of Architects (Cremascoli - Okumura - Rodrigues). What is noteworthy is the building - so it is a small black tower, covered with tiles and with the spirit of Portuguese architecture. Inside this small add-hidden gym and cozy bar.Iz windows of the tower you can observe the urban landscape. In my opinion, this project - the confirmation of the hypothesis that good architecture can limit yourself to play with scale and size.

Pantone Hotel In Brussels

Hotel Pantone on Louise Avenue in the Belgian capital - the last child of the universe Panton in the world of consumption. Seven-story hotel, designed by Belgian designer Pennemanom Michel (Michel Penneman) and the Belgian architect Annar Olivier (Olivier Hannaert) includes 59 rooms, the decor of which corresponds to one of seven Pantone color palettes, from the quiet and watery to a bright and fiery. Hotel Administration expects that "guests choose a room that will complement their mood through color." Bathrooms and hotels come with toiletries Universe Pantone. Roof terrace, with its own bar, is available for private receptions and take 100 guests.

Hollywood Sign Hotel In Hollywood Hills

Hollywood Hotel Sign - is a project proposed by the Danish architectural firm Bayarch. This project includes a hotel, wellness-center, spa, cinema and clubs.



It is known that the U.S. is the company to save the symbol of Hollywood - famous worldwide inscription on Mount Mount Lee. She decorates the Hollywood Hills since 1923, but the land beneath it is a privately owned group of investors from Chicago. The site was put up for sale. The famous inscription was saved from demolition at the last minute thanks to a donation of Playboy magazine founder Hugh Hefner (Hugh Hefner). He donated 900,000 dollars to the charity fund, whose activities were aimed at saving space on the building. This wonderful hotel is proposed as a sort of compromise and rescue variant of the famous inscription.

Dancing Light And Shadow

Japanese studio EASTERN design office has designed a sculptural facade Strips in Shayga (Japan). Designers themselves describe their "Dancing light and shadow" . The idea is that during the day in a long corridor of the architectural change each other's light and shadow in a bizarre compositions.

House Nest By Stephen Ricci

French architect Stefan Ricci (Stephan Ricci), who works under the pseudonym Architerroriste , designed a concept house that looks like binoculars, surrounded by a nest. The project is called "House-nest" (Nest House) (on the chair-slot read here ). According to the architect, this project - an abstract vision of what could be the environmental habitat a few years. The house gets its power from water and sun, but is also equipped with wind turbines.
