Whitney Museum Of Axis Mundi
Architectural bureau Axis Mundi (New York) proposed a new version of the layout of the Museum of American Art Whitney (Witney Downtown Museum). Now the museum is located on Madison Avenue, Manhattan. The building was built in 1966 on the layout by Marcel Breuer and Hamilton Smith. The current museum building - the third in a row. In 1998, the Whitney Museum has been extended by acceding to the adjacent building. There are currently plans a new reconstruction and expansion of the museum.
