Forest Network From Tezuka Architects

"Forest Network" (Woods of Net) - is a permanent pavilion Japanese artist Toshiko Horiuchi (Toshiko Horiuchi), created by Studio Tezuka Architects in collaboration with engineers from the TIS & PARTNERS. The pavilion is located in an open Museum Hakone (Hakone), unique conservation area, located in one of the most visited tourist regions in Japan.

Horiuchi independently connected this gigantic network of hands -- especially for children who may be in her swing. The wooden structure of the pavilion is made, that is, "without single nail "- no metal parts. At its creation has gone 320 cubic meters of various tree species.
